The company

One of the UK's suppliers of construction plant machinery and cranes are looking to appoint an After Sales Manager who can take the business forward by developing high end accounts, inspiring the After Sales team to greater levels of technical support to bring an overall level of excellence to an already respected Company.

The Role of After Sales Manager

Working closely with the Regional After Sales Manager you will be attending meetings and visiting sites. In addition to this you will have full responsibility of running the meetings with engineers and office team as well as ensuring all targets are met. You will also be using your technical skills offering assistance to service engineers and customers. This role involves extensive travelling as you will be supporting the business in UK and Ireland, therefore a full driving licence is essential.

The Candidate for After Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of the Construction Equipment industry in management role. You will be good team player and have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure. Time served apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Management of the After sales team
  • Build strong business to business relationships
  • To gain a clear understanding of competitors business
  • Arrange demonstrations, meetings, proposals and negotiations
  • Ensure that all equipment on loan carries compliant documentation
  • Achieve and exceed allocated sales targets
  • Ensure that any customer dissatisfaction is dealt with efficiently
  • Manage budgets
  • Successfully manage your territory to optimize all business opportunities
