Business Development Manager

We have a new opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager with a proven sales background to join a National Plant Hire Company with well maintained and mostly new premium equipment that is hired out for reasonable prices! You can be based from Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, Harrogate or York as this is a field sales role with flexibility to visit sites within the patch.
The Role of Business Development Manager
We are searching for a Business Development Manager who can develop new business, increase revenue and manage an existing client base; including lapsed accounts to maximise sales penetration of their territory.
- To gain a clear understanding of customers' business and their requirements
- Visit existing client sites and follow up new enquiries
- Arrange presentations, proposals and negotiations
- Successfully manage your territory to optimise all business opportunities
You may have worked previously as an: Account Manager, External Sales Representative, Field Sales Person, Area Sales Manager, Field Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, Major Account Manager, Business Development Manager, BDM or related roles.
You may have also worked in the following industries, Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Temporary Accommodation, Non-mechanical Hire, Vehicle Hire, Powered Access Hire, Pump Hire, Generator Hire etc.
