Responsibilities for a Credit Controller:

  • The Credit Controller must actively maintain and keep track of accounts

  • Reconciliations of accounts

  • Chasing debts via telephone, emails and letters within the timescale

  • Negotiating payment plans and handling disputed debts

  • Keeping clear records of client chasing

  • Proactively assisting with ad-hoc administration duties

 Requirements to become a Credit Controller:

  • Proven strong credit control experience.

  • Knowledge of Sage.

  • Have experience with CIS.

  • Attention to detail, logic, ability to problem solve and prioritise workloads.
