Position: Depot Supervisor / Manager - Commutable from Tipton, Walsall, West Brom, Dudley & other surrounding towns/villages.
Salary for the Depot Supervisor: Circa £30k - £35k DOE + Bonus incentives - discuss fully with Leo when you speak.
We are working on behalf of a well-respected builders merchant who has been established for many decades within the construction industry. Now an exciting position of Depot Supervisor has become available at one of their many depots
They supply a wide range of non-mechanical plant, consumables and components across a variety of sectors including Civil Engineers, House Builders, Building Contractors, Renewable Energy, Utilities, Construction and Builders Merchants.
Currently they have an opportunity for a Depot Supervisor to join the small successful & growing team based in the area.
The Depot Supervisor Role
Full responsibility of all functions including P+L, operations, transport and retail sales within a busy depot. You will also manage the trade counter of your branch as well as staffing procedures, training, recruitment and health and safety issues.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must be customer focused, well organised , commercially aware and an experienced sales negotiator with the ability to plan and co-ordinate a busy depot effectively.
Previous experience in a similar Supervisor or depot manager / branch manager or as an assistant manager role is essential for this position along with drive, ambition, an entrepreneurial flair and the willingness to succeed. You will have the opportunity to work for a company with an excellent reputation within the trade.
Responsibilities

- Responsible for the day to day operations of a busy depot including internal sales.
- Continuously improve standards
- Monitor customer feedback and deal with concerns promptly
