Hire Desk Controller- Based local to Burton upon Trent, an expanding plant hire company is looking for an experienced customer focused individual to join a busy hire desk. This individual will have previous experience as a Hire Desk Controller / Hire administrator and have a high level of administration skills.
Responsibilities of the Hire Desk Controller
Run and manage the on and off-hires of plant equipment
Administration including raising hires and sales paperwork.
Manage incoming and outgoing calls.
Raise purchase orders and tend to invoice queries.
Ensure the completion of spreadsheets.
To be successful in this role you may have previously worked as a rental manager, tool hire manager, Hire Administrator, Hire Coordinator, Plant Administrator, Hire Controller or Hire Desk Controller. You may work in plant hire, tool hire, powered access hire, welfare hire or another construction rental sector.
Skills of the Hire Desk Controller
Excellent IT skills and be confident using Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated and have strong communication skills.
Excellent telephone manner.
