Internal Account Manager salary Circa £35k - new role commutable from Chawston, Wyboston and Great Paxton.

We are recruiting an enthusiastic Internal Account Manager with sales experience to contribute in generating sales for an innovative company in the Plant/Tool/Welfare/ Transport Hire sectors. You will be responsible for developing client relationships with equipment hire and transport rental businesses throughout the UK. You will have CPC knowledge or qualifications with prior involvement in planning routes and movements of plant set ups. 

Experience within Plant / Tool / Accommodation Hire or Transport  companies - within sales / key / major accounts is highly desirable.

An effective Internal Account Manager is required, with an excellent communicator possessing superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as face to face meetings with senior management or procurement teams.

Responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service reference to technical specifications whilst working closely with the sales teams
  • You will be coordinating various projects for your client base 
  • Working with customers from inception of requirements
  • Help manage deliveries and coordinate the fleet across the group 
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales KPI's and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Requirements of the Internal Account Manager

  • Proven experience as a sales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Employment within Plant / Tool / Accommodation/ Vehicle companies - either sales or hire/sales desk
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales budgets
  • An interest in I.T. and good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM /higher database software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High standard of education and or technical sales experience would be desirable
