National Account Manager

As a National Account Manager you will be prepared to travel extensively across the UK for this role and demonstrate an acumen for business development, account and project management.

The role of the National Account Manager

  • Development/maintenance of excellent customer relationships at senior rail contractor levels.
  • Generate new business opportunities, whilst managing existing accounts by winning repeat business and delivering on KPI's
  • Develop hire solutions for high value customers ensuring a smooth process and continued business
  • Maintain customer contact, updating with any new products or services
  • Build strong business relationships with both clients and colleagues

Previous experience as a Major Account Manager, Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager, National Sales Manager, BDM, Sales Manager, Area Sales Representative or related roles. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge within either the Plant Hire, Accommodation Hire, Cabin Hire, Tool Hire, Generator Hire, Construction Rental, Capital Plant or Rail / HS2 sector, managing rail accounts / dealing with customers within the rail industry / on HS2 projects.
