The Plant Engineer Role
The plant engineer will attend on-site calls servicing and repairing a variety of heavy construction plant and crane equipment to a high standard. Your experience will include a strong proven knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment with a confident attitude towards identifying faults and solving them to your strongest ability.
To be successful
- You will hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or plant mechanics.
- Knowledge of HGV's, plant, lifting, materials handling and willing to be trained.
- Be able to work on your own initiative.
- You will have previous experience as a plant engineer, crane engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant mechanic, plant technician, workshop plant engineer or workshop plant fitter, workshop crane engineer, or mobile crane engineer
- You must hold a full UK driving license.
- You may have previous experience working on plant equipment such as excavators, diggers, dumpers, small cranes, crawler cranes and similar machinery.
- You may need to flexible on travel at times
The Company
You will be joining a well renowned construction company that supply a wide range of equipment including construction plant and cranes, lifting equipment. Due to their success, they are now expanding and looking at taking on a Plant Engineer who is able to keep up with the demands of the company.
