Plant Engineer - salary up to £48,000 with overtime available OTE up to £55k - £60k per annum - you may have a Plant Inspector background or similar with knowledge of LOLER /PUWER /LEEA. This Plant Engineer role is very different to the standard engineer roles you may be considering!
An exciting opportunity to work within a national hire company based across London / the M25 - Training is available as eventually you will cover all of the fleet including lifting and plant.
Responsibilities for the Plant Engineer:
As the plant engineer, you will have experience of working on plant equipment including diggers, dumpers, excavators, compressors, telehandlers, rollers etc.
To maintain all machinery in optimum operating condition by servicing, diagnosing and repairing within a busy workshop and out on site
Ensure a high standard of Health and Safety for both colleagues and customers.
To maintain Health and Safety to company and HSE regulations.
Do you have the following attributes?
Previous experience working as a plant fitter, plant technician, plant mechanic, workshop engineer, service engineer or mobile engineer/fitter
Worked on MEWPS, forklifts, telehandlers,excavators and MEWP categories IPAF 3a & 3b
Good communication skills
Knowledge of diesel engines
NVQ Level 2/ 3 in Plant Maintenance or time served
Full UK Driving Licence.
