Tool Fitter - up to £30k salary on offer with overtime available. Based in a local depot you may also regularly provide cover to other depots in the group.
Working in a small team for a leading tool hire company, this role will involve servicing, maintaining and repairing small tools and specialist equipment. Due to expansion, this would be a fantastic opportunity to join a nationwide hire company offering training and career development.
Responsibilities of the Tool Fitter
Meet the companies’ needs by servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment when required.
Carry out all tasks to a high standard meeting company requirements.
For company records, ensure all paperwork is completed from start to finish.
Ensure the work area is kept tidy at all times and company tools are returned correctly, adhering to health and safety at all times.
When required, help other workshop staff with duties such as loading and unloading vehicles and assisting with external breakdowns.
To be successful in this Tool Fitter position, you will have previously worked in positions such as Tool Hire Fitter, Workshop Mechanic, Workshop Technician, Service Technician, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Workshop Engineer, PAT Test Technician or Workshop Fitter related to the Tool Hire industry.
