Tool Hire Fitter

Tool Hire Fitter - An exciting opportunity has become available to join a reputable plant and tool hire company at one of their depots near Sunderland. Salary up to £26,000 DOE. This tool hire fitter role is a full time permanent position based within a fast paced workshop who are now looking to expand their team of experienced engineers. 

The right candidate for the Tool Hire Fitter role

  • You will have previous experience working as a workshop fitter, tool fitter, small tools fitter, tool hire fitter or test and run fitter.
  • You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering.
  • A background in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential for this role.
  • You will have previously worked within the tool hire industry working on equipment such as Makita, Hilti, Bosch or Dewalt.

Job Role for the Tool Hire Fitter

  • As the tool fitter, you will be required to carry out any servicing and maintenance to a range of small tools and plant including power drills, angle grinders and wacker plates
  • Carry out any PAT testing.
