Ready to take on a new challenge? Now recruiting for a Trainee Crane Engineer. Salary up to £35k DOE / OTE + overtime + certified training. This is a permanent full time opportunity where your role will be to carry out preventative maintenance visits at various client sites.
As the Trainee Crane Engineer you will be:
- Attending on-site calls as well as work in the workshop in order to inspect, service and repair a variety of heavy construction plant and crane equipment to a high standard.
- Carrying out any fault finding or diagnosing
- Ensure all administration and paperwork is up to date and completed on time.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Speak to customers and provide technical support to reduce the amount of breakdown call outs
To be successful as the Trainee Crane Engineer:
- You will ideally hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or engineering although not essential.
- Be able to work on your own initiative.
- Strong proven knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
- Full UK Driving license.
You will have previous experience as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant mechanic, plant technician, workshop plant engineer or workshop plant fitter, workshop crane engineer, trainee crane engineer or mobile crane engineer.
