A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a successful and growing national hire company near Eastleigh as a workshop engineer. Circa £28,000 plus overtime, 31 days holiday and many great benefits.

The Company
A leading hire company providing a wide range of plant and powered access machinery to the construction and related sectors with 10+ depots strategically placed across the UK to ensure they provide excellent customer service and satisfaction every time.

The Job Role

  • As the workshop engineer, you will be required to service, maintain and repair all types of powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, truck mounts.
  • To manage administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service
  • Maintain Health and Safety to Company standards
  • Diagnose faults

To be successful

  • You will have previously worked as a workshop powered access fitter, powered access engineer, LOLER engineer, workshop engineer, technician or mechanic.
  • You will hold and NVQ Level 2 in Engineering or plant maintenance.
  • You will have experience in repairing a range of powered access machinery including JLG, Genie, Skyjack or Nifty.
  • You will hold an IPAF licence and ideally a CAP certificate.
