Our client is a leading provider of a range of plant hire equipment to the construction industry. With branches located nationwide, they are looking to expand the team at one of the largest and most profitable depots, with room for career progression.
To continue to provide their excellent quality of service support our client is looking for a plant engineer to work in the North West region. You will be repairing and servicing equipment in the workshop, so experience of working on hydraulics and diesel engines is essential.
The role requires a candidate who is self motivated with good customer service skills and a flexible, enthusiastic attitude to problem solving in order to maintain a meticulous standard at all times
You will be servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of access platforms and powered access equipment within a fast paced workshop environment. During busy periods this role will also require for you to attend site breakdowns, therefore, a full UK driving licence and excellent customer service skills are essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and hands on sales manager to join a fast paced and exciting organisation within Scaffolding, Temporary Works and Non-Mechanical plant hire sector.
This role reports directly to the Regional Director and has the day to day responsibility of running the branch operationally in terms of profit and loss, asset management, motivation and mentoring a team of staff. You must be financially and commercially driven with the enthusiasm and experience to develop this depot and move forward with the significant investment.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader of people, as it will be your responsibility to grow your branch and team. Management experience is a pre-requisite of this role. You will need previous branch/depot management experience from a related hire background, preferable Plant/Tool, Access or Accommodation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with the ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks with confident and flexible attitudes at all times.
