This Workshop Engineer role is to support the company’s needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of Plant Hire Equipment. Previous experience of working for an equipment manufacturer would be an advantage as would knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and electrics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established construction plant supplier in Leicestershire, offering full sales, service and parts. It will allow you to advance your career offering future training and stability in an ever expanding workforce. Duties will include:
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance to construction plant equipment
  • Routine servicing and repair of plant equipment including PDIs
  • Supporting customers with solutions in a timely and effective manner
  • Identify faults quickly and repair accordingly.

To be successful within this Workshop Engineer role, you will have previously worked in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Service Technician, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Mobile Fitter or Workshop Fitter related to the construction industry.

 

A qualification in NVQ or City and Guilds in Plant or Engineering would be desirable, although not essential
