The Company

Our client is a leading supplier of cranes and have several depots located nationally, due to their continued success they are seeking an additional engineer to add to their growing team.


The Role

The ideal candidate will have experience of servicing and repairing cranes for customers on site, so a proven knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic diagnostics is essential.


The role requires someone who is self-motivated with good customer service skills with a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities of the Mobile Engineer

  • Carry out routine services and maintenance on maritime cranes throughout the North East along with on site breakdowns.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards
  • To work in line with the company quality assurance guidelines
  • Ensure that all machinery is efficiently maintained to maximise company business

Skills/Requirements of the Mobile Engineer

  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Diagnostic skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Good knowledge of the local area
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic Aptitude with experience in repairing cranes.
  • NVQ qualification level 3 or equivalent in related subject.

The ideal candidate will be located in either of the following areas; Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesborough, Sunderland, Washington, Jarrow, Wallsend, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Whitley Bay, Redcar, Darlington and surrounding area
