Electrical HGV Technician

A great opportunity has become available for a self-employed HGV mechanic. In return, you will be paid a great hourly rate and many working hours are up for grabs.

The Role

  • You will be required carry out all electrical repairs on a fleet of HGV's within a workshop/yard environment.
  • You will be required to complete all compliance paperwork accurately and work to the company's standards.

To be successful

  • You will have previous experience in working as an HGV mechanic, technician, electrician, fitter or engineer.
  • You will have experience in repairing Scania, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes or Ford trucks.
  • You will hold a City and Guilds or NVQ in heavy vehicle mechanics, automotive mechanics/engineering or electrical engineering.


  • £12 - £14ph DOE
  • Flexible working hours with many available

The Company
You would be working on a contract basis that has the potential to become permanent, for a national haulage company who own their own fleet of class 1, 2 and commercial vehicles. Due to expansion they are looking to add to their growing and developing team.
