A fantastic opportunity has become available for a field service plant engineer.

The Job Role of a Field Service Engineer

  • You will be required to work throughout Hertfordshire/Home Counties attending on-site breakdowns as well as routine service and maintenance on heavy plant and material handling machinery, along with diagnosing faults.
  • You will be required to liaise with the parts department along with ensuring all the compliance paperwork is completed accurately.

To Be Successful as a Field Service Engineer

  • You will have previous experience working as a plant or agricultural fitter, engineer, technician or mechanic.
  • You will hold a BTEC, Diploma, City and Guilds or an NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance, mechanical engineering, agricultural engineer or land-based technology.
  • You will ideally hold an in date CSCS card.
  • You will have knowledge of construction plant manufacturers including JCB, CAT, Volvo, Kubota, Hitachi and Komatsu.
  • You will have diagnostic experience ideally using a laptop.
