Assistant Hire Manager
This new role based within the plant hire depot, near Hitchin, will assist with the management a team of Plant Hire Controllers and Drivers.
An established and well-recognised hire company who supply plant, tool and access equipment to the construction sector are now looking for an Assistant Hire Manager to facilitate client’s needs.
The duties of the Assistant Hire Manager are to essentially manage all orders offering technical advice and solutions to all hire requests. This includes:
Source heavy and operated plant at short notice for your customers
To be the focal point within the team for customers and Internal/External staff who are seeking plant rental solutions on a daily / weekly basis.
Ensuring the customer is kept informed at all times of hire orders and purchases.
Health & Safety is paramount in this role and you will need to take the lead in this area
Attend site visits when required to assist with implementation new contracts going live and ongoing support.
To be successful within the role of Assistant Manager, you will have previously worked in positions such as a Plant Controller, Plant Manager, Hire Desk Controller, Plant Coordinator, or as a Rental Manager,
