Based from Fareham, our client is looking for a Trade Counter Assistant / Hire Controller / Customer Service Advisor to assist the management team in the day to day requirements of a busy non-mechanical plant hire depot.
Monday – Friday, + 25 days Holidays + bank holidays and a guaranteed bonus structure.
Duties of the Trade Counter Assistant / Hire Controller / Customer Service Advisor to include:
• Maximising sales opportunities
• Effectively maintaining excellent relationships with customers, suppliers and fellow team members.
• Liaising with other depots to check the availability of equipment.
• Distribution of daily incoming and outgoing paperwork.
• Providing a proactive approach to upselling and increasing sales
• Assisting within the yard when necessary with occasional heavy lifting.
To be successful within the role, you may have previously worked in positions such as a Trade Counter Assistant, Trade Counter Supervisor, Yard Supervisor, Customer Service Executive, Customer Service Assistant Hire Manager, Hire Desk Controller, Internal Sales, Rental Manager, Sales Controller, Customer Service Advisor, Hire Controller or Sales Coordinator.
