Hire Assistant - OTE £25,200 - Immediate interviews and appointments
Based out of the Thatcham depot, we are looking for a Hire Assistant for the construction department to assist the management team in the day to day operations of a busy plant hire depot.
Monday – Friday,
25 days Holidays + bank holidays
Competitive Basic Salary plus Guaranteed monthly bonus structure (subject to 1 month training and attendance)
Duties of the Hire Assistant
Maximising sales opportunities
Effectively maintaining excellent relationships with customers, suppliers and fellow team members.
Negotiation with customers/end users over both the telephone and electronically (mainly emails)
Liaising with other depots to check the availability of equipment.
Distribution of daily incoming and outgoing paperwork.
Providing a proactive approach to upselling and increasing sales
Assisting within the yard when necessary with occasional manual handling.
To be successful within the role, you may have previously worked in positions such as a Hire Assistant,Trade Counter Assistant, Trade Counter Supervisor, Yard Supervisor, Customer Service Executive, Customer Service Assistant Hire Manager, Hire Desk Controller, Internal Sales, Rental Manager, Sales Controller, Customer Service Advisor, Hire Controller or Sales Coordinator.
