Area Sales Manager role - This patch needs a hungry sales person who wants to earn bonus, there is huge potential to grow the £2m-£3m worth of current accounts.

Working from home and out in the field as an Area Sales manager, covering your own area, you will be responsible to manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing accounts at a senior level including contacts with Health & Safety Managers, Procurement, Directors, and Construction Site Managers.

This will also involve building strong customer relationships as well as gain an understanding of customer's current and future needs and use that insight to identify business growth opportunities. If you are a sales rep, field sales manager, sales executive, BDM, business development professional and can demonstrate your achievements and successes in tool hire, plant hire or rental sectors then this role is for YOU!

The Area Sales Manager Role:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new accounts
  • Identify, target and develop new business opportunities within allocated territories
  • Use experience and knowledge from a technical environment and provide technical support to the sales and purchasing team
  • Liaise with the technical team to support and progress existing, as well as prospect, customers in their new product developments
  • Arrange and follow up on-site demonstrations.
  • Pro-active approaches by both emails and on the telephone (e.g. chase orders, forecast updates, discuss upcoming requirements, quotations outcomes, discuss pricing, new product opportunities)
  • Travel on customer visits to maintain and develop customer relations
  • Attend exhibitions and trade shows in representation of the company
