Depot Manager – Plant/Tool Hire - £40k to £45k plus Bonus and Company Car
This Depot Manager role reports directly to the Managing Director and has the day to day responsibility of running the depot operationally in terms of profit and loss, asset management, and motivating your team. You must be financially and commercially aware and have the experience to develop this depot and move forward with significant investment.
Duties of the Depot Manager to include:
Management of staff within the Depot
Produce monthly reports for the Regional Director
Maintain and exceed depot targets and KPIs
Production of annual budgets
Fully conversant with all aspects of Health & Safety procedures
Continually improve depot standards while promoting the Company at all times
Carry out appraisals and salary reviews with your staff
The successful Depot Manager will be a strong leader of people, as it will be your responsibility to grow your depot and team. Management experience is a pre-requisite for this role.
You will have previous branch/depot management experience from a related hire background, preferably Plant/Tool, Access or Accommodation.
You will have worked in positions such as Branch Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Service Centre Manager, Depot Operations Manager or Sales Manager.
