Hire Desk Controller

Sales Administrator – Salary up to £20,000 DOE. An exciting new opportunity to join a prestigious company at one of their offices near Milton Keynes. They have become a leading supplier of hire equipment to the construction sector within the UK.

Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:

  • You will be dealing with inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assisting with customer queries and orders in a professional manner.
  • Inputting orders through the hire system.
  • Liaising with other depots to arrange delieveries and collections of equipment.
  • General administration duties
  • Develop a professional relationship with internal and external clients

You will have previous experience as a sales administrator, hire administrator, hire controller, plant administrator, hire desk advisor, hire desk administrator. You should possess exceptional customer service skills along with accuracy and precision in your work with an approachable attitude and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Requirements for the Sales Administrator Role

  • PC literate - MS Office, Email, Internet, MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • A confident and flexible attitude
  • Administrative experience

Due to continued success, our client are expanding and looking to recruit a sales administrator who is customer focused, well organized individual preferably with some experience in the construction or related industries, although this is not essential, to assist in maintaining and developing service levels.
