Urgent Hire Controller needed for a specialist role within plant hire, if you work within construction plant then read on!
This new role based within the Central Hire Desk will be helping to run new and existing projects within plant hire and civil engineering Nationwide. As a Hire Controller, you will be sourcing equipment from your own fleet, preferred suppliers and competitors to assist Quantity surveyors, project managers and internal staff. If I can be honest we have placed other hire staff who have benefitted from career progression, pay rises etc.
An established and well-recognised hire company who supply plant, tools and access equipment to the building and construction sectors. Now due to expansion, they are looking for an additional Hire controller to facilitate client’s needs.
The duties of the Hire Controller are to essentially manage all orders offering technical advice and solutions to all hire requests. This includes:
To be successful within the role of Hire Controller, you will have previously worked in positions such as a Plant Controller, Site Administrator, Hire Desk Coordinator, Internal Plant Coordinator, Rental Manager, or Senior Hire Controller.
