About the Role:

As Service Controller, you’ll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring excellent communication between clients, suppliers, and engineers. You’ll coordinate service schedules, manage engineer diaries, and provide vital administration support to the service department. This is a varied and fast-paced role where your organisational skills will play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers
  • Assisting the service team with daily administration
  • Liaising with product and parts suppliers
  • Scheduling and diary management for field service engineers

About You

You’ll bring proven experience within the plant hire, construction, or engineering support sector. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with confidence using Microsoft Office. You’ll thrive in a busy environment, enjoy problem-solving, and be a positive team player with a great sense of humour.

To be successful as Service Controller, you may have worked as a:
Service Administrator, Service Coordinator, Hire Desk Controller, Plant Hire Administrator, Engineering Scheduler, Service Planner, Workshop Controller, Service Support Coordinator, Maintenance Scheduler, or Hire Desk Advisor.
