This Mobile Plant Fitter role gives you the opportunity to take ownership & cover the North West.
To apply for this role you MUST have an NVQ qualification in plant/vehicle maintenance
As the Mobile Plant Fitter, your duties will include:
- Maintain all construction plant equipment to an extremely high standard including diagnosing faults, servicing and PDIs on site.
- Carrying out breakdown, service, and repairs on construction plant machinery
- Routine services on the plant equipment involving Diggers, Dumpers, Vogel Pavers, Excavators, Paving, Piling Machines & Rollers, Light Commercial Vehicles / LCVs, Generators or similar equipment.
- Working on manufactures such as JCB, Kubota, Volvo and Liebherr.

To be successful for the role of the Mobile Plant Fitter, you will have also worked in positions such as, Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Plant Technician, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Heavy Plant Engineer, or Plant Mechanic. You will have also worked on the following equipment: Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators, Telehandlers, Rollers, Material Handling, Forklifts, Loaders etc.
The successful candidate will ideally live in Blackburn, Blackpool, Preston, Chorley, Burnley, St Helens, Lancaster, Fleetwood, Leigh, Southport, Tarleton, Wigan or surrounding.
