About the Role (PAT Tester)

As a PAT Tester, you will be based in a busy workshop environment in Coleshill, carrying out PAT testing on a range of small plant and hire equipment.

Your responsibilities as a PAT Tester will include:

  • Conducting PAT testing on small tools and plant machinery 

  • Ensuring all equipment meets safety and compliance standards

  • Recording and maintaining accurate testing documentation

  • Identifying and reporting faulty or unsafe equipment

  • Working closely with the workshop team to maintain high standards

This PAT Tester role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, structured environment with consistent working hours.


About You (PAT Tester Skills & Experience)

To be successful in this PAT Tester role, you may have:

  • Proven experience as a PAT Tester

  • A recognised PAT testing qualification or certificate

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Experience working with tools or equipment (plant experience beneficial but not essential)

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment


To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a:

Electrical Tester, Portable Appliance Tester, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Workshop Technician, Service Technician, Equipment Technician, Electrical Engineer, Test Engineer, Tool Technician, Maintenance Engineer
