Earn up to £34k DOE + overtime| 30 days holidays including BH- this will rise yearly |This role is Monday to Friday is commutable from areas such as Barcombe, Beddingham, Pyecombe and Plumpton. This new Plant Fitter role will support the plant hire and tool hire teams. You may get the chance to also attend mobile breakdowns on occasions.
As the Plant Fitter, your duties will include:
Service and maintain plant and tool equipment including diggers, dumpers, generators, pumps.
Work with top manufacturers equipment including JCB, Terex, Thwaites, CAT, Komatsu, Kubota, Genie, Stihl and many more
Repair and identify faults abd support your workshop and mobile Plant Fitter.
Updating service records
Manage administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately and on time
To be successful for the role of the Plant Fitter, you will have also worked in positions such as, Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Service Technician or Heavy Plant Engineer. An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (not essential) would be beneficial. If you have worked on diesel engines, petrol engines possibly vehicles, HGV's or from the waste industry then we could consider your application for this Plant Fitter job.
