Responsibilities of the Pump Fitter to include:
- Carry out on site repairs and maintenance across Essex
- Visit other depots in the region to maintain and repair pumps in the workshop
- Ensure issues that are solved remain operational with minimum interruption of service
- Providing solutions to queries from customers on site, consulting with the hire desk where required
- Always deliver first class customer service
- Consult with the parts department to ensure your van is always stocked.
- To be successful within this role, you will have previously worked on a range of equipment including compressors, generators, drainage pumps, submersible pumps, centrifugal pumps, bowsers, small plant etc.
This is a market leading company within the hire industry and you will play a vital role as a Pump Fitter
The ideal Pump Fitter may have worked in one of these positions Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Generator Engineer, Mobile Generator Engineer, Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician, Pump Engineer, Pump Mechanic. This is not essential.
