A brand new opportunity has become available for a Small Tools Engineer to join a well established team based near Coleshill! 


Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Small Tools Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of small tools and equipment across various sites. This role will be based on one site, however it will occassionally will provide you with the opportunity to work across different locations. Responsibilities

As a Small Tools Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and maintaining small tools to ensure they are safe and operational.
  • Collaborating with site teams to address tool-related needs and issues.
  • Keeping detailed records of inspections, repairs, and tool usage.
  • Ensuring all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Participating in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

To excel in this role as a Small Tools Engineer, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Ability to follow and understand manufacturers' maintenance schedules.
  • Proficiency in PAT testing and completing tagging processes.
  • Experience in servicing and repairing small tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and respond to out-of-hours calls.
