An exciting opportunity has come about within the plant hire industry to join a busy and fast paced workshop who are looking for someone to join their team. You will need to be able to deliver high standards and be an asset to the team. This will include maintaining and repairing construction equipment such as dumpers, excavators & rollers.
As the Workshop Plant Fitter, your duties will include:
- Carrying out breakdown repairs on construction plant machinery
- Routine services on the plant equipment
- Adhere to health and safety requirements and ensure your workplace is clean and tidy at all times
To be successful in the role of the Workshop Plant fitter, you may have previous experience working on Kubota, JCB, Bomag or Terex machinery. You may have previously worked as a Workshop Plant Fitter, Engineer, Technician or Mechanic. You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in either plant maintenance, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
