Your Responsibilities as the Workshop Supervisor! 

  • As the workshop supervisor, you will be required to supervise the engineers, assisting them with the maintenance and repairs of plant equipment including diggers, dumpers, rollers and telehandlers 
  • You will be distributing the workload, ensuring all equipment breakdowns are responded to promptly and efficiently
  • Make sure all paperwork and records are filled out correctly
  • You will be dealing with ordering of parts and stock control
  • Assisting with any additional training as required

To be successful as the Workshop Supervisor we welcome applications from candidates with previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Workshop Manager, Workshop Plant Supervisor, Workshop Chargehand, Workshop Team Leader or Leading Hand. You will need to come from a Construction Plant, Plant Hire, Heavy Plant, Earthmoving equipment or similar background. 

Please note it is essential you have a qualification in a related industry to an City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
