As the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be working on a large fleet of vans, LCVs, vehicles, plant and light commercial vehicles.

Commutable from Glasgow, this Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role is an extremely reactive position where you will support the company's needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of construction equipment including commercial vehicles, vans, Mercedes Sprinters, Ford Transit vans and more!

Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to include:

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance to the company's fleet of vehicles,vans and plant equipment.
  • Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your client
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites
  • Representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable way

To be successful as the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, it would be ideal that you have previously worked in positions such as Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, vehicle fitter, van technician, vehicle mechanic, car mechanic, car technician, plant engineer or plant fitter. Potentially we can look at trainee engineers. You will have worked on vans, vehicles, and cars previously.
